Located deep in the heart of the Himalayas is where you will see this spectacular Valley of Flowers. It’s a beautiful meadow located at an altitude of 3,500 metres. With its diverse flora and fauna and dazzling snow-capped peaks, it’s the ultimate heaven for naturalists and trekkers. The trek begins from Govindghat and goes up to Hemkund Lake at an altitude of 4,329 metres. Along the way, you will find crystal clear waters and streams coupled with majestic greenery. This trek takes you to the valley which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a National park, so you can drink in the beauty that the valley has to offer.

It is a 10-12 hours drive from Haridwar to Govindghat. Pick up point will be Haridwar Railway station at 6 am.
Govindghat is a pristine hamlet adorned by pilgrims and adventurers alike, in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state. It is located on the way to Badrinath at the confluence of Alaknanda and Lakshman Ganga rivers. Govindghat is the starting point of the trek to Hemkund Sahib and the Valley of Flowers.
This celestial place is perched at an altitude of 1920 metres above sea level and it is nestled on the banks of Alaknanda River.
Depart from Govindghat by 6 am. You are expected back in Haridwar by 8 pm. Time taken is 11-12 hours
